Leon Pauls completely redesigned lightweight Sabre Guard. After over a year of research and development with our in house Sabreur, James Honeybone, and other top international Sabreurs, we have changed the shape, thickness and balance points of this guard. Now made from only 1mm thick Duralumin alloy, this weighs in at just 64g.
The ultra thin alloy is hardened to its optimum strength meaning that it is as hard as is possible without cracking. This is a performance item and the drastic increase in weight means that you can’t expect the tank-like reliability of our heavier standard guard, however we think the performance boost is well worth the investment.
